Structural Refinement of Glycoproteins
Research Group
An important class of glycoproteins contains those with mucin-like domains, characterized by clusters of glycosylated serine and threonine residues. These are significant components on the cell surface. These researchers determined the structure of glycopeptide fragments by NMR methods in order to understand mucin glycoprotein organization. Computing resources were utilized to aid in the structure refinement, using experimental constraints.
