Bioinformatics Databases and Select Targets for Vertebrate Functional Genomics

These researchers are working to identify human homologues of deoxyribonuclei acid (DNA) repair genes identified in other organisms. They then plan to use this information to further identify single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in these genes, and study the association of these SNPs with breast cancer. The researchers are using the Basic Sciences Computing Laboratory for this project.
