The conference will be held at the McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak Street S.E., located on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus.
There will be a welcome/reception Wednesday night, October 6, at the Radisson Hotel Metrodome. The plenary sessions, breaks, and lunches will be held at the McNamara Alumni Center. The pizza/poster session will be held the evening of October 7 in the Mississippi Room of Coffman Memorial Union. The reception and banquet, including remarks from William Goddard, will be held on October 8 at the Campus Club, which is located in Coffman Memorial Union. The conference fees include the Wednesday night reception, breaks and lunches at the McNamara Center, the pizza/poster session, and the conference banquet.

The conference fee is $250 for participants registering by the September 3, 2004 conference registration deadline. Late registrations will be accepted on a space available basis. Beginning September 4, 2004, a late fee of $100 will be assessed, for a total price of $350. The registration fee includes all breakfasts, lunches, and breaks during the conference, a reception on the evening of October 6, and a banquet the evening of October 8.
A reduced fee registration is available for University of Minnesota students and postdoctoral associates to attend the conference for $50. To received this reduced fee, which includes the conference's evening activities, does NOT require the student or post-doc to present a paper. However, the student or post-doc may submit an abstract for a poster paper or oral presentation. The conference administrators will confirm with the students advisor/research supervisor as to whether they are eligible for the reduced fee.
If you would like to attend the banquet only, the cost will be $65.00 if you register prior to September 20. After September 20 the cost will be $75.00.
Payment can be made by credit card, check, money order, or U of M CUFS number, or we can bill your organization.
Computational Chemical Dynamics from Gas-Phase to Condensed-Phase Systems Symposium Registration Form
If you need to cancel your registration, a refund, minus a $25 fee, will be issued if you cancel your registration in writing by September 20, 2004. If you cancel after that date, you will be ineligible for a refund.
We are accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Registrants who would like to present an oral or poster paper are requested to submit the title of the paper and the abstract to dynamics@msi.umn.edu by September 3, 2004.
Abstracts should be submitted in PDF or Word format and are limited to one page. Please indicate whether you would prefer to give an oral presentation or a poster presentation.
Poster boards are 6' X 6'.
The poster session will be held on October 7 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Participants traveling by air will arrive at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. It is a 15-20 minute cab ride to the Minneapolis Campus of the University of Minnesota. Conference participants will be able to choose from two hotels: the Radisson Hotel Metrodome and the Days Inn University.
The Radisson Hotel Metrodome is located on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus. The occupancy rate for the conference is $104 per night. Reservations may be made by contacting the Radisson.s toll free number, (800) 333-3333, or by dialing directly to the hotel at (612) 379-8888. When making reservations please indicate that you are attending the Computational Chemical Dynamics Symposium. Reservations must be made by September 15, 2004. Subsequent to this date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
The Days Inn University is located about three blocks from the East Bank of the University of Minnesota campus (shuttle service is available). The Days Inn is offering a room rate of $65 for a queen or 2 double bed room. Reservations may be made by contacting the Days Inn University at (800) 375-3990 or (612) 623-9303. Reservations must be made by September 13, 2004 for this symposium. Subsequent to this date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. When making reservations, please indicate that you are attending the Computational Chemical Dynamics Symposium.
