Computational Genetics Laboratory Grand Opening

November 13, 2003



The Supercomputing Institute for Digital Simulation and Advanced Computation is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Computational Genetics Laboratory. This event will take place at noon, November 13, 2003, at 138 Cargill Microbial and Plant Genomic Building on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.

Christine M. Maziar, Executive Vice President and Provost of the University of Minnesota, will present a brief keynote address. Other speakers include:

  • Regents Professor Ronald L. Phillips, Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics


  • Regents Professor Ashley T. Haase, Head, Department of Microbiology


  • The opening ceremonies will include light refreshments.
