Blade (IBM BladeCenter Linux Cluster)

Bladecenter is an IBM Bladecenter Linux cluster. The cluster consists of 307 IBM LS21 compute nodes, each containing two dual-core 2.6 GHz AMD Opteron processors sharing 8GB of main memory. In total, Bladecenter consists of 1,196 compute cores and 2 TB main memory.

To get an account on Blade, fill out a Resource Request Form.

Get the latest information about the status of the Institute's machines.

You may contact the User Support staff for help or to report problems with the system, through the help request form, by sending email to User Support, or by calling 612-626-0802 (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
