FAST: Annotation

It is easy to add text, a legend for color contours and adjust the axis.

Text

Text is easy to add. Pull down the "Module" menu in the "Viewer" to "Titler". You will see the following

Type the desired text into the field below "Enter New String:". Use the pull down menus to change the font, size, style, color and justification of the text. The "Math" and "Symbol" fonts may be useful. Position the text by dragging the "star".

Click on "New Object" to create more text.

Legends

To add a legend to the contours, pull down the "Tools" menu in the "Viewer module to "Legend..." You will see the following window

Click on "New Legend". You may enter the minimum and maximum values or let FAST do it for you by clicking on "Link to Scalar". You can easily change the size of the legend, the font size, the number of digits, and the location.

Axis

To turn the axis on or off, add tick marks, or to lengthen or shorten the axis, pull the "Tools" menu down to "Preferences ...". This module is quite straight forward and easy to use.
