The basic concept:
The hands on tutorials are designed to show example pieces of code along with
associated output and input files.
The design:
Each of the hands on tutorial pages will look like the one pictured here.
Section #1 is the code selection window. In this window,
there is a pull down menu listing each piece of example code in the
tutorial. The code selected from the pull down menu will display in
section #3. Additionally, making a selection from the
pull down menu will cause section #2 to be updated. With
each selection made from the pull down menu in section 1, a different
set of associated files will become available in a pull down menu
located in section 2. Once a file is selected from the pull down
menu in section 2, it will be displayed in section #5.
Section #4 will display any annotations associated with a
given line of the example code. The annotations will be links to the
actual text of the annotations themselves. Section #6
displays any other useful links or controls.
