MSI Video Streams

The Supercomputing Institute offers tutorials via streaming video. To access the video stream, please check the following steps:

STEP 1: System requirement:

Our live webcast requires Real Player. There are Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix versions of Real Player available for free from Real.com.

Our archived webcasts require Windows Media Player version 9. This software can be downloaded for free from Microsoft.com. In the future we will be moving towards real player format for all live and archived webcasts.

STEP 2: Test your connection:

A short webcast is available to test your connection. Please click "Test Webcast" at the left of this page to make sure the audio and video streams are working properly.

NOTE: The demo may take several seconds to load. Don't expect the playback to begin immediately.

STEP 3: View a Webcast at MSI:

You can either view a live webcast or an archived webcast.

  1. To connect to the Live Webcast, click the "View Live Webcast" at left of this page.

  2. To view archived video streams or the webcast powerpoint presentations, click "Webcast Archive".

NOTE: Remember that for live webcasts, you probably won't see anything until just prior to their start times.
