Investigations Into Methods of Improving Imaging Methods

During this period, these researchers have investigated various methods of improving medical imaging methods. They have studied the effect of multiple rare-earth dopants on the quantum detection efficiency of the rare-earth phosphor gadolinium oxysulfide. Another project studied the effect of water vapor and oxygen on the performance of cesium oxide (CsI) phosphors. Finally, the researchers investigated the effect of europium co-dopant on the electronic structure and optical properties of CsI:TI.
