Studies of Molecular Interactions in Vitamin A Signaling

This project investigates molecular interactions of components that mediate signaling pathways of vitamin A, or retinoic acid (RA). The researchers are searching databases available through MSI for target sequences of vitamin A. Using molecular modeling, they plan to predict the interacting surfaces of several components involved in signal transduction of RA into either nuclear receptors or protein kinases.
