Identification of Biomarkers Using Metabolomics in Porcine Hemorrhagic Shock

The goal of this project is to identify the changes occurring in the metabolome during the course of traumatic shock and resuscitation with the objective to identify biomarkers in clinically relevant biofluids (urine, plasma) that are most associated with risk of multiple organ failure and death. The researchers use MSI’s web- and data-hosting services to enter, clean, process, analyze, and display data in an effective way.
