Minnesota Congenital Heart Network
The Minnesota Congenital Heart Network is a group of clinical researchers, informatic analysts, and statisticians that work together to find ways to decrease complications following heart surgery. Because congenital heart disease (CHD) is relatively rare compared to heart disease or diabetes, multiple hospitals must be used to have enough patients to enroll in studies. Therefore, the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota are combining their patient populations to investigate interventions that may improve long-term outcome for children with CHD. This project uses the SDVL.
