Magnetism in Iron Nitride Systems

Iron nitrides have been widely investigated for decades due to their extremely high saturation magnetization. This research group carried out many experiments on the fabrication and measurement of iron nitrides that yielded fruitful progress. To quantitatively prove their proposed model and to get a better understanding of this material, they used the molecular-dynamics software package VAMP/VASP to calculate its energy band and density of states, then calculate its Ms and other magnetic properties.
