Microarray Analysis

These researchers use the software programs GeneSpring, Expressionist, and R for analysis of data generated by Affymetrix microarrays. They have many genetically modified mouse models (knockout or transgenic) in which they examine gene expression profiles and study disregulation of specific genes. In addition, they analyze microarray data from myogenic cells in culture treated with various cytokines to assess the effect on gene expression. The researchers are also using Ingenuity Pathway analysis to assist in group disregulated genes.
