Teaching Parallel Computing in a Quantitative Macroeconomics Course

This faculty member introduced parallel computing to students taking a course in Quantitative Macroeconomics. Many problems economists face are well suited to parallel codes but the students are rarely even introduced to parallel computing. In fact, none of the Social Science servers on campus are capable of such computing. The PI believes it is useful for the students to be exposed to it for later work on their theses.
