Analyses of Large Datasets in Number Theory and Internet Traffic

These researchers’ analysis of zeros of the Riemann zeta function is continuing. The researchers are also working on an older project of the Principal Investigator concerning the search for extremal polynomials with +/-1 coefficients related to the Littlewood problem and Golay merit factor, as higher computing power makes it feasible now to explore much higher degrees. Finally, the MINTS project, devoted to monitoring Internet traffic trends, http://www.dtc.umn.edu/mints, relies on various MSI databases and is continuing.
