Legume Genomics

The first draft of the soybean genome sequence has recently entered the public domain. These researchers are interested in investigating the genome sequence, including identifying and building assays to study functions of redundant genes, which they have done using the Lasergene software suite. They anticipate generating large amounts of next-gen sequencing data, which can be analyzed using various software options through MSI.
