Running a Paper Matcher Program
The PI is running the annual conference of the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS), which is an academic finance conference. The project involves running a C++ program to match the papers submitted to the FIRS Conference to the appropriate reviewers. The program compares the areas of expertise of the reviewers to the subject areas of the papers. It maps the paper to the reviewer whose has the maximum number of matches. If a reviewer and the paper have a same affiliation, the match is ruled out and the paper is assigned to a different reviewer. This program takes "scores.txt" as the input and generates "prog.lp" as the output.
