About This Event:
The Spatial Forum is a yearly event highlighting spatial research, teaching, and outreach at the University of Minnesota. This event is free and open to the public and features lighting talks, exhibitor booths, and the Borchert Lecture.
The 2023 Borchert Lecture will be presented by Dr. Nadine Alameh, the Inaugural Executive Director of the Taylor Geospatial Institute. This annual lecture features notable speakers in geographic information science and honors the late John Borchert, University of Minnesota Regents Professor in Geography and member of the U.S. National Academy of Science.
