Project Title: 
Unary Computing

This group is investigating a novel form of computing called unary computing. Numbers are encoded into expanded "base 1" representations, instead of the traditional binary encoding. The encoding is realized using parallel wires, with the ratio of 1s to the total number of digits determining the value. The group uses MSI machines to evaluate the hardware cost of different configurations for unary computing.
