Elizabeth Austin-Minor

This group investigates carbon cycling in aquatic systems, including the effects of increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide on lake and stream pH, pCO₂, and alkalinity. This involves processing large datasets from moorings and shipboard underway systems as well as empirical modeling of these parameters as a function of temperature, chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic matter, and conductivity.
