Dr. Peter Larsen

This group will utilize several high-throughput second and third-generation sequencing technologies to investigate epigenomic vulnerabilities contributing to the origin of sporadic disease and emerging zoonoses at the wildlife-livestock interface. MSI resources are used to support multi-omic analyses including transcriptomic, metagenomoic, and epigenomic experiments involving mammals. Analyses of Illumina, PacBio, and Oxford Nanopore sequence data will generated in the coming months.
