Project Title:
Bacterially Delivered Tumor-Targeted Anticancer Immunotherapy

These researchers engineer virulence-attenuated bacteria to secrete immunomodulatory molecules in tumors. The bacterial strains are tested for efficacy and mechanism in mouse models of cancer. When a sufficiently efficacious anticancer therapy is demonstrated in mouse models it will be translated to human clinical trials.
