Project Title:
Infectious Disease Model Development
This group is working on approaches to incorporate behavioral change into Bayesian compartmental epidemic models. This work requires intensive simulation studies with model fitting using MCMC methods. Computation is done with R and the R package NIMBLE, which compiles models in C++. Due to the computational intensity of these Bayesian models, they can take several hours to run, making them well suited to run in an HPC environment.
