Two MSI PIs have been named to the 2017 class of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. This organization is one of the most prestigious honorary societies in the country. The new class will be inducted in October.
MSI PIs Nicholas Phelps and Jeff Forester, both assistant professors in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, have co-authored an article on the news outlet that describes ways to fight aquatic invasive species.
MSI PI Vipin Kumar, a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was interviewed by Sierra magazine recently.
