MSI PI Allison Hubel Named Director of Technological Leadership Institute
The University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) has announced that their new director will be MSI PI Allison Hubel (professor, Mechanical Engineering). Professor Hubel will be the first woman to hold this position in the TLI’s history. Professor Hubel is studying methods of preserving cells and tissues using methods inspired by natural processes. The Hubel Lab uses MSI resources to run statistical models that will help them understand the proper combination of molecules to stabilize cells.
