Lim to Head Medical Devices Center

The Earl E Bakken Medical Devices Center (MDC) has announced that their next Director will be MSI PI Hubert Lim (professor, Otolaryngology and Biomedical Engineering). The MDC, which is part of the Institute for Engineering in Medicine, supports the advancement of medical device innovation.

Professor Lim is a long-time MSI PI and core member of the Center for Neuroengineering. He uses MSI resources for research including large-scale neural data analyses and computational modeling (e.g, COMSOL) for characterizing energy stimulation fields (e.g., electrical, ultrasound), and using NEURON/neural modeling programs, and for large-scale genomic/RNA-seq analyses.
