The Minnesota Supercomputing Institute (MSI) complies with University of Minnesota policy. The following policies provide additional structure. All MSI users are required to comply with these policies.

Policy Statement

The Minnesota Supercomputing Institute (MSI) provides access to High Performance Computing (HPC), storage, and visualization resources for the academic community at the University of Minnesota campuses. In addition, it also provides a broad array of related services in support of the research needs of University faculty.

MSI provides long-term, dedicated services that are tailored to support specific research initiatives or development programs led by University faculty. Such customized services typically involve exclusive and assured access to staff effort and dedicated hardware over the duration of the project. MSI charges reasonable at-cost fees for dedicated technical consulting, analytical, HPC, and storage services.
