Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Particle Transfer
Fluid mechanics is the basis for a wide range of physical processes. These include biomedical applications such as blood flow, cryogenics, peristaltic pumping, drug delivery, and brain aneurysms, among others. Fluid mechanics, when teamed with heat transfer, controls the operation of electronic equipment and heat exchangers. Fluid mechanics, when coupled with mass transfer, controls the trajectories of particulates.
