Signal Processing for 2D-LC

These researchers are developing multidimensional liquid chromatography and its applications in metabolomics and bio-medicine. This technology produces very large (100s of megabyte multivariate data files) when used with multi-wavelength diode array detectors and mass spectrometric detectors. The group is investigating various data-processing methods such as PARAFAC, PARAFAC2, and MCR-ALS algorithms for quantitation. They will use ACD software to convert mass spectrometry data into MATLAB-accessible data formats.
