RNAseq and Tnseq Analysis of Enterococcus faecalis

The Dunny lab studies the functional genomics of Enterococcus faecalis, a commensal bacterium that is also a major cause of hospital infections. They are using Illumina-based next-generation sequencing for this project. They are primarily storing and analyzing sequence data generated by the genomics center. The group's goals are to identify novel genes and mechanisms controlling survival biofilm growth and virulence in these bacteria using sequenced-based approaches.
