Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and STAT5 in B Cells
This lab is involved in understanding the genes that cooperate with STAT5 to induce acute lymphoblastic leukemia. As part of these ongoing studies they are making use of high throughput sequencing to study gene expression (RNA-seq) and DNA binding sites (ChIP-Seq). They have also used the array analysis software in the past and may have some future needs for software to reanalyze this data as well (GeneSpring and now Partek). The lab has also makes use of programs for statistical analyses and vector programs. Continuing studies will make use of RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and possibly proteomics.
