Drug Delivery Research

This project involves computational approaches to drug delivery, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and transport modeling using ordinary and partial differential equations. The researchers also model the thermodynamics and kinetics of swelling and shrinking of hydrogels, which are responsive to external stimuli such as temperature, pH, and glucose concentration. These models are helpful in the design of biosensors and drug delivery systems that are responsive to these stimuli. The group's primary use of MSI is for programming in Matlab, Mathematica, and COMSOL.
