BlueFuse is a powerful software tool for two-channel microarray image analysis. It does automatic grid placement, quantification, spot confidence estimation, and multiple-image batch processing using Bayesian algorithms. It also comes with many normalization protocols based on different image conditions. BlueFuse also provides CGH (Comparative Genomic Hybridization) analysis for tiling arrays.
Due to its low usage, MSI does not plan to upgrade the support plan for this software in 2012. Researchers can still use the existing software on the Windows application server iron.msi.umn.edu or on Windows PCs in the MSI labs.
