Software Description
GeneMark is the name of a set of gene prediction programs developed at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Genemark-ET is a member of this set of software for semi-supervised analysis of novel genomes. To use this program at MSI, please send a a request to help@msi.umn.edu and ask to be added to the GeneMark group. The use of GeneMark at MSI is limited to academic researchers.

Licensing Info
If you encounter the error: "gmes_petap.pl: Command not found" or something similar, you are probably not part of the GeneMark group. Please contact help@msi.umn.edu with a request to be added.
General Linux
To load this module for use in a Linux environment, you can run the command:
module load genemark
Depending on where you are working, there may be more than one version of genemark available. To see which modules are available for loading you can run:
module avail genemark
