GIMP

GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) is a general image processing program for UNIX machines. It can be used for editing images,creating logos and adding text. It supports multiple layers. Gimp can handle several image formats like, tiff, jpeg, etc.
 
To run this software interactively in a Linux environment run the command:
gimp
Note: no module is needed.
