SignalP4 is software for predicting the presence and location of signal peptide cleavage sites in amino acid sequences in different organisms. To use this program at MSI, please send a a request to help@msi.umn.edu and ask to be added to the SignalP4 group. The use of SignalP4 at MSI is limited to academic researchers.

If you encounter the error:
"gmes_petal.pl: Command not found"
or something similar, you are probably not part of the SignalP4 group. Please contact help@msi.umn.edu with a request to be added.
General Linux
To load this module for use in a Linux environment, you can run the command:
module load signalp
Depending on where you are working, there may be more than one version of signalp available. To see which modules are available for loading you can run:
module avail signalp
