Trinotate is a transcriptome annotation suite designed for use with de novo assembled transcriptomes from model or non model organisms.
In order to load Trinotate for interactive use on a Linux system, use the following command:
module load trinotate
Please note that several of the dependencies of Trinotate are restricted-access software, for use by academic researchers only. In order to use trinotate, contact help@msi.umn.edu and request access to SignalP4, TMHMM, and RNAmmer. Documentation on the use of Trinotate can be found on the software's webpage.
