Python is a general purpose programming language with a rich syntax and structure. In addition, Python has built-in commands to perform simple tasks like reading files and also more advanced tasks like writing a server, web framework, etc. This tutorial will be useful in understanding the “various batteries” included in python. We will cover advanced topics in Python such as issuing commands to the UNIX shell, reading and writing spreadsheet files, creating XML documents, and performing mathematical operations like a Pythonista.
