|Instructor(s):||Zheng Jin Tu, MSI|
The operation of the Illumina/Solexa Genome Analyzers, GAIIx and HiSeq2000, at the Biomedical Genomics Center allows researchers at the University of Minnesota to generate tens of gigabases of DNA sequences in a single run. This tutorial will present a technical review of Illumina/Solexa Genome Analyzers. We will also discuss their applications in various biomedical research fields. Finally, we will introduce data and data types generated by Illumina/Solexa sequencers and present a general overview of new generation sequencing data analysis.
This tutorial will also be webcast. Instructions for accessing the tutorial via live streaming video can be found at https://www.msi.umn.edu/support/videos.html.
