This tutorial will feature a remote (via Zoom) instructor which can be viewed in person at 575 Walter Library. This shared classroom will have 1 or more assistant instructors. This sign-up is for remote participation only, if you would rather attend the WaLib classroom, please sign up via the other Tutorial signup link (limit of 10 in classroom).
This tutorial will provide an introduction to the Linux operating system, with particular attention paid to working from the command line. The tutorial will cover basics such as fundamental commands, editing files, understanding directories and permissions, and remote access. No previous Linux experience is required.
