Introduction to common techniques for the analysis and quantitation of proteomics mass spectrometry ("mass spec") data. This workshop will focus on how to build your own analysis workflow – both quantitative and non-quantitative – using the openMS tools and the KNIME platform. Different search engines will be demonstrated along with their relevant parameters and how to incorporate their results. The first day will be demonstration-driven, building a workflow from scratch in the course, while the second day will be an opportunity for attendees to work on their own data or do additional explorations of provided data sets.
Working files used during the tutorial can be found here.
