The Research Informatics Support Systems (RISS) group is dedicated to enabling the application of informatics and computational resources to underserved research domains. RISS addresses this challenge through multiple avenues: the development of novel analysis techniques and workflows, expert knowledge on the current literature, and outreach and promotion of groundbreaking new technologies. I provide operational oversight and long term planning for the group, and alongside my co-scientific lead oversee all ongoing research projects and grant preparation.
