Transcriptomic Profiling of Control and TGF-Beta-Activated Hepatic Stellate Cells
These researchers are working with human hepatic stellate cells (HSCs). Cultured primary HSCs were preincubated with FAK1 inhibitor PF228 (5 uM) and stimulated with TGF-beta1 for 24 hours. RNA samples were then sent to the University of Minnesota Genomics Center for next-generation RNA sequencing. There are four groups in this project: HSC, HSC+TGF-beta1, HSC+F228, and HSC+PF228+TGF-beta1.
