These researchers are examining how projected climate change impacts the state of Minnesota and particularly its many lakes. They use the regional climate model WRF to project not only Minnesota's climate for the 21st century, but also details about water temperatures and ice fractions for ten lake levels from the surface to the bottom of each of the more than 75 lakes that are represented in their high-resolution simulations.
