Project Title:
Neuroimaging in Psychiatry

These researchers are processing large amounts of neuroimaging data to better understand the relationship between brain metrics that can be derived from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images and psychiatric health. These analyses are conducted with the goal of incorporating objective, neuroimaging-based measures of psychiatric health into patient clinical care at the University of Minnesota. The project will including processing the data of somewhere between thousands and tens of thousands of subjects to be able to calculate more accurate normative statistics on brain function, and to develop high-dimensional models that link complex behavioral presentations with complex patterns of brain organization, function, and structure.
